Nylund (1904-1997) was a Swedish designer and Director of Röstrand from 1931-1955. He began his well established and respected practice in the late 20s and was responsible for countless new designs, public commissions, and exciting processes like the matte feldspar glaze stoneware in hare’s fur and crystal glazes. Born in Paris to Danish and Swedish parents, Nylund is a constant figure in the history of ceramics.
