My practice revolves around the exploration of symbolism, superstition, and the belief in the transformative power of objects into amulets. Utilising textiles as my medium, I delve into the realms of both personal and universal history, establishing a deep connection with tactile traditions, popular beliefs, and the archaic.

I am interested in the relationship between power and knowledge, where objects, images, and symbols can become instruments of power and, through this relationship, I create my own objects of protection.

My woven textiles represent the most abstract expression of this exploration, and through my embroidery I seek to recognise the poetic and symbolic elements that emerge from mundane experiences, creating connections between the small and personal with the grand and celestial."
